Congregational Care & Prayer
In addition to the care that our pastoral staff provides, there are a variety of ways through which we provide comfort and support for those who are going through stressful situations.
Stephen Ministries: confidential Christ-centered lay caring ministry.
Open Prayer Meeting: Each Thursday evening at 7:00 pm there is an open prayer time in Room 204.
Email Prayer Chain: A team of our congregation who prays for those in need, as requested. To have your request sent to the prayer team send a confidential email.
Senior Citizens Transportation: Our Deacons coordinate rides on Sunday to church for the older members of our community. If you know someone who needs a ride OR would be willing to periodically be one of our drivers, contact a deacon.
Practical Care & Comfort: Our Deacons also coordinate visits to senior citizens, delivery of meals to those who are recently released from the hospital, and welcoming of new visitors. If you know someone who needs any of this care, or if you would like to join in providing these caring acts, contact a deacon.
Communion Sundays Prayer: On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate the Lord's Supper at both worship hours. During the 10:30 am Worship Service, a pastor is available for a brief prayer while Communion elements (gluten-free) are being served to the congregation. Please feel free to come to the head of the side aisles for private prayer.
Connecting with a Pastor: If you would like to receive pastoral care from one of our ordained staff members, please feel free to email them directly.
